Concerns over water safety in KZN after spate of drownings

DURBAN – A spate of drownings has hit KwaZulu-Natal, with seven reported cases in just five days.
The incidents occurred in various locations between Durban and the South Coast.
Lifesaving South Africa is urging bathers to only swim at designated beaches.
“We call on the bathing public to only swim where lifeguards are on duty,” said Dhaya Sewduth.
